This Refund Policy explains the terms under which Fortivo Property Preservation, LLC ("Fortivo," "we," "us," or "our") handles payments, cancellations, and refunds for property preservation services.
1. Nature of Our Services
Fortivo provides property preservation and field services — including interior work, exterior work, and securing services — typically performed on a per-work-order or contract basis for banks, mortgage servicers, asset managers, REO portfolios, and investors. Because our services involve labor, materials, and on-site work, refund terms differ from those of standard retail products.
2. Quotes and Authorization
Work is performed only after a scope of work is agreed upon and authorized. Approved estimates and work orders form the basis of the agreed price. Any change in scope may affect pricing and will be communicated before additional work proceeds where practical.
3. Cancellations
- Before work begins: If you cancel an authorized work order before any work or material procurement has started, you may be eligible for a full refund of any prepaid amount, less any administrative or mobilization costs already incurred.
- After work begins: If work has commenced, charges for labor performed, materials purchased, and costs incurred up to the cancellation are non-refundable. Any remaining prepaid balance will be refunded after deducting those costs.
4. Completed Work
Payments for services that have been completed and documented are non-refundable. We provide before/after photo documentation and reporting to verify completion.
5. Service Concerns and Re-Work
If you believe work was not completed as agreed, contact us within seven (7) days of completion. We will review the concern and, where warranted, return to correct or complete the work at no additional charge rather than issue a monetary refund. Re-work is our preferred remedy for workmanship concerns.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method where possible, typically within a reasonable number of business days after approval. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
7. Disputes
We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any billing or service concern before initiating a chargeback or formal dispute, so we can address the matter promptly.
